Slowly, since I was a child, a sensitive reality has been unfolding onto an endless fountain of wonders. It is the creative aspect of my life that has allowed me to interact with the world on a comfortable level. Therefore, it is part of my identity and what I strive for every day.
The instantaneous connection to the world around me is infused by the most impulsive attributes of my personality which may sometimes pause the apparent significance of the moment. It is here that even the instantaneous moment can be viewed through the optics of the transcendental. It is then that I have the opportunity to reflect on what I perceive and react to it on to the physicality of the raw material.
In my formative years I lived in Mexico, Spain and The United States. Throughout my upbringing I have sensed and absorbed the nourishing influences of these different cultures. As a professional artist I have invested the past 20 years on commissions, academic enrichment, individual and subcontract work; some of which have been selected for honorary national distinctions.
Most recently, I feel a strong desire and inspiration to serve my community. I want to use what I know and what I love to do in order to help ease the pain of those parting from a loved one, those celebrating a new life and all that comes in between.
